Delivery Policy
We deliver within Nigeria and internationally. Before dispatch, we confirm your delivery fee and address — nothing ships without your awareness. This page covers timelines, costs, risk of loss, and your responsibilities as a recipient.

Delivery fees
Delivery fees are not fixed. The cost varies based on your location and is determined at the time of your order. After reviewing your order, we will confirm the delivery fee with you before dispatching.
You will not be charged for delivery without prior notification and your explicit agreement. If you have questions about delivery costs to your area, message us on WhatsApp before placing your order.
Ready-made pieces
Ready-made pieces that are in stock are typically dispatched within 2–5 business days of payment confirmation, subject to delivery fee confirmation and address verification.
Once dispatched, delivery timelines depend on your location and the courier used. We will share tracking information where it is available from the courier.
Made-to-order pieces
Custom and made-to-order pieces require production time before they can be dispatched. Most commissions are completed and ready to ship within 7–14 days after the brief is confirmed in writing, though complex pieces may take longer. We will give you a clear production and dispatch estimate when your order is confirmed.
We will contact you before dispatch to confirm your delivery details, including the final fee and expected timeframe.
We confirm before dispatch
Before dispatching any order — ready-made or bespoke — we will reach out via WhatsApp or email to confirm:
- Your delivery address
- The delivery fee
- An estimated delivery timeframe
If we are unable to reach you within a reasonable period, your order may be held until contact is made. We will make at least two attempts to reach you before holding an order.
Risk of loss
Risk of loss or damage to your order passes to you once the item is handed to the courier for dispatch. From that point, the courier is responsible for the safe delivery of your parcel.
We will provide tracking information where available so you can monitor your delivery. If your parcel is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us and we will assist you in liaising with the courier. We cannot guarantee outcomes from courier claims processes, but we will do what we can to help.
Your responsibility
Please ensure your delivery address and contact number are accurate when placing your order. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by you.
If a delivery fails due to an incorrect address or unavailability to receive the package, additional delivery charges may apply to reattempt delivery. We will contact you before charging any additional fee.
International delivery
We ship to most countries worldwide. International delivery timelines and fees vary significantly by destination and courier. We will confirm the applicable fee and estimated timeframe before dispatching your order.
Customs duties and import taxes— where applicable, are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Decency's Crochet Design has no control over customs processes or the levies applied by your country's customs authority. We cannot predict or be held liable for customs delays or additional charges. If you are unsure about import duties in your country, we recommend checking with your local customs authority before ordering.
We recommend messaging us on WhatsApp before placing an international order so we can give you a delivery estimate for your specific location.
